Adrianne Keffeler

Adrianne was raised in Berkeley, California, to which she gives credit for shaping her into a curious, broad-minded, and pretty much not surprised by anything adult. Adrianne attended the University of Washington and holds both a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Educational Psychology. During her senior year of college, she gained a new roommate, who within six months would become her boyfriend and five years later her husband. The majority of her career was spent working as a Counseling Psychologist in the Bellevue School District. At the point where her job title was the “District Head of Counseling,” she made the tough decision to step away from working full time to be fully present for her two kids, who were then 4 and 6. During this journey to the present, to stay engaged with her peers and community, she joined the Program for Early Parent Support (Board Chair and group leader), Social Venture Partners (Partner and Grant cycle member), Child Care Resources now Brightspark (Board member), University Child Development School (President of Parent and Family Association), The Bush School (Co-President of the Parent and Family Association), and for the past seven years as a reading coach for Reading Partners, as well as countless other small, but meaningful engagements. Adrianne rounds out her time with a strong wanderlust, locally on their boat, and abroad. Other interests include photography, tennis, cooking and hosting dinner parties with her friends and family. She lives in Magnolia with her husband and two Icelandic Sheepdogs. Her kids are both adults, one having recently graduated with an eye on law school and the other midway through college and an avid outdoor enthusiast.
