Jill Simmons

Jill was born and raised in Rochester, NY, and studied broadcast journalism and political science at Syracuse University. She spent 10 years in New York City working in the PR industry for brands including Hasbro, Garnier, and Maybelline and magazines including Self, Woman’s Day and Premiere. Having always wanted to live on the West Coast, she convinced her husband to move from Brooklyn to Seattle in 2008. A few months after moving to Seattle, she joined a startup called Zillow and helped grow the brand into the household name it is today. Currently, she is the sr. director of communications at Zillow. She lives on Mercer Island with her husband, two kids and English bulldog. In her spare time, she enjoys running, walks with friends, skiing (not very well), and traveling.
