Katie Myserson

Katie is a Seattle native, growing up on Vashon Island. She earned her bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Western Washington University and later completed a Master’s in Reading and Literacy from Seattle Pacific University. She spent ten years teaching elementary school in the Highline School District before spending the last two decades raising her three children. An active member in her community, Katie has volunteered extensively in local schools, managed youth soccer teams, and supported many community outreach efforts including Habitat for Humanity, Rainier Scholars, and The Rave Foundation. An outdoor enthusiast, Katie enjoys hiking, skiing, wake surfing, pickleball and training for triathlons. She also enjoys walking her golden retriever, Murphy, and looks forward to traveling more once she and her husband become empty nesters in the fall.
